Wood Choice Options

Wood Type - "Select" - Is premium selected wood, which has a more consistent wood grain pattern and color. Select Woods are the best for applying stain. Please note that panels on Select Grade Wood are 1/4" plywood with Select Grade wood veneer.

 

Wood Type - "Natural" - Is Natural selected wood, which has an may have an inconsistent wood grain pattern and color. Natural woods can be stained or painted, but we don't recommend Natural woods to be stained due inconsistencies from one piece to another.  Please note that panels on Natural Grade Wood are 1/4" plywood with Natural Grade wood veneer.

 

"PG" Wood - Paint Grade wood meaning the best wood type for absorbing paint and not recommended for staining due to inconsistencies. 

 

"MDF"  - Medium Density Fiberboard which is sawdust and glue that have been fused together with pressure and heat.  MDF is a great paint grade material and is featured with our other paint grade wood species.
