What You’ll Do

  • Log into the IKEA Kitchen Planner and open your saved design.
  • Print your design as a PDF with the item list included.
  • Upload that PDF to CabinetNow’s “Build Your IKEA Project” tool.
  • Select your new cabinet door style and finish and get an instant quote.

Part 1: Download Your IKEA Kitchen Planner PDF

First, you’ll export your IKEA design as a PDF so CabinetNow can read your layout and item list.

1

Go to the IKEA Kitchen Planner and Log In

Visit https://kitchen.planner.ikea.com/us and make sure you’re logged into your IKEA account. If you’re not logged in yet, click Sign In and enter your credentials.

2

Open Your Saved Kitchen Design

Go to your saved designs and select the kitchen layout you want to use with CabinetNow. Wait for the planner to fully load your design before moving to the next step.

3

Open the Print Menu

Inside your design, click the three dots (⋯) in the top corner and choose Print. This will open the IKEA Planner’s print options for your project.

4

Select “Item List” and Print Selection

In the print options, make sure Item List is selected. This is what CabinetNow uses to understand your cabinet quantities and sizes.

Once Item List is checked, click Print Selection. Your computer’s print window will open.

5

Save as PDF (All Pages)

In the print window:

  • Change the printer to Save as PDF (or similar).
  • Set pages to All Pages so the full layout and item list are included.

Click Save and choose a location on your computer (your desktop is usually easiest to find later). Your IKEA Planner PDF is now ready to upload.

Part 2: Upload Your IKEA PDF to CabinetNow for an Instant Quote

Now you’ll use CabinetNow’s IKEA Import tool to turn that PDF into a custom door quote—without measuring every cabinet.

6

Go to CabinetNow.com and Click “Build Your IKEA Project”

Open CabinetNow.com and select Build Your IKEA Project. When prompted, click Upload IKEA PDF and choose the file you just saved from the IKEA Planner.

7

Choose Your New Door Style and Finish

Once your PDF is uploaded, the system will read your item list. Then you’ll:

  • Select your new cabinet door style (Shaker, Slim Shaker, Slab, etc.).
  • Pick your preferred finish (paint-grade, stain, thermofoil, or laminate).
8

Review Your Selections and Get Your Instant Quote

Double-check your style and finish choices, then click Get Your Cart.

CabinetNow will automatically load the items into your cart so you can see your total and get an instant quote for your new custom cabinet doors.
