New Cabinet Doors by Not Just Another Housewife

A progression of Stacy's work on her new cabinets.

This fall, we decided to reach out to a fantastic blogger in need of a cabinet makeover. Stacy Risenmay of the blog Notjustahousewife.net fit the bill perfectly and happened to be in need of a kitchen cabinet reface!

What is a cabinet reface? Cabinet refacing is a great way to save money during a remodel because only the cabinet doors get replaced. If the cabinet boxes are sturdy and have no damage to them, then it makes sense to only replace the part everyone, especially the homeowner, sees on a daily basis. The look of a complete cabinet replacement with only the cost of a reface.

Stacy moved into her adorable cottage and inherited kitchen cabinets that were not her favorite. She painted over them to hide their dated color but even paint can’t cover cabinet doors that have a dated panel and design. She was ready for a modern change and CabinetNow.com was here to help!

Stacy chose to replace her kitchen cabinets with timelessly classic shaker style doors. The process of ordering her cabinets was as simple as her measuring each of her cabinet doors and drawer fronts and then providing us with the measurements. She then measured the hinges of her current cabinet doors so that we could match the necessary pre-bore on her brand new custom doors. The doors of her fold out Lazy Susan cabinet were even replaced!

Doesn’t her kitchen look beautiful and completely new? And to think it was as simple as replacing the cabinet doors and drawer fronts! CabinetNow.com has everything you need to do this to your own kitchen or bathroom and we are happy to help!
